Dr. Heliya Ziai

Dr. Heliya attended McMaster University for her undergraduate studies, where she graduated Cum Laude from the Bachelor of Health Sciences Program. After her time in Hamilton, she pursued a role as a research technician at theUniversity of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry, where she helped author numerous published scientific journal articles. Through her research on the effects of oral microbiota on dental materials, her desire to become a dentist was further confirmed.

She obtained her doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honour Society. She went on to earn her Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from New York University College of Dentistry.

Dr. Heliya strives to immerse herself in the community in which she lives and works. Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Heliya exercising, trying out new restaurants, and spending time outdoors whenever possible. Dr. Heliya’s greatest joy is seeing her patients’ confidence grow as their smiles do.
