Cosmetic Treatment Available
Teeth Whitening / Bleaching – Teeth that have been dulled or stained over time can be whitened to improve the appearance. This can be done in the office with professional whitening options or with professional take home whitening kits. Some over the counter whitening kits may help but they are usually not as effective as professional options that you can get at your dental office.
Dental Implants – This is the best tooth replacement option for missing teeth because it does not require altering existing teeth to be fitted. Dental implants are designed to fuse to your bone for maximum stability. Your dentist will place the dental implant or implants and prepare a dental crown to fit on top of it that mtaches the natural look of surrounding teeth. Dental implants feel just like your natural teeth.
Dental Veneers – Dental veneers are thin porcelain shells that are placed on top of your existing teeth to adjust the shape, size, colour and length of your original teeth. Your dentist will need to remove a minute portion of your natural tooth to allow the shell to fit on top of the teeth.
Invisalign (Non-Traditional Braces) – Invisalign is a process that uses clear plastic trays to gradually shift teeth. Unlike traditional metal braces, these trays are removable. Many patients prefer to straighten their teeth with Invisalign due to the convenience of this method, provided they are candidates.
Silver Fillings – Silver fillings may be replaced with a composite restoration material that matches the colour of your tooth for a more natural look.
Dental Bonding – This involves the use of coloured composite resin material to alter the shape of your teeth and to change colour of your teeth if they have been stained or dulled. Minor decay, tooth fractures and chipping may also be fixed with dental bonding.
Dental Crowns – These are used to help add strength to a tooth that has a large number of fillings on them. Not only do they make the tooth stronger, but they can also change the colour of the tooth to match nearby teeth.
Dental Bridge – When there an open space between two teeth, a dental bridge can be used to fill the empty space between teeth. A dental bridge requires that the teeth on either side of the empty space, be shaved down to fit the dental bridge.
Diastema (Closing Spaces) – A diastema is a space between two teeth. These can be easily filled or closed through the use of dental veneers, dental bonding and Invisalign treatment.
Gum Contouring – This procedure is used to reshape or to trim excess gum tissue. Teeth can be made to look longer when the gum tissue is trimmed.
Tooth Widening & Lengthening – The length and width of teeth can also be modified through the use of dental veneers, dental bonding and gum contouring.
